Mutu nominated for two sustainability awards

We are very excited to announce that Mutu has been selected as a finalist in the Going Circular category for the 2023 Sustainable Business Awards and a finalist in the 2023 CCNZ Construction awards for the Sustainability and Innovation category.

CEO Ben Redwood was very proud of what Mutu has achieved “It is great to see our team get recognition for all the hard work we have been putting in. Reducing the carbon footprint of Aotearoa is something we are very passionate about and awards like this drive up exposure and help get Mutu into more companies hands”.

To date Mutu has helped:

• Repurposed more than 250 tonnes of surplus materials back into other projects
• Saved our customers more than $670k in procurement costs
• Redirected more than 28 tonnes of CO2 waste emissions from landfill
