Mutu awarded Auckland Council Waste Minimisation Grant

Mutu was one of the initiatives selected to receive a grant from the Auckland Council Waste Minimisation and Innovation Fund.
You could fill the Sky Tower 33 times with the amount of waste the construction sector produces in Auckland each year (700,000 tonnes!!!)
CEO Ben Redwood was excited about the opportunities the grant would open up “This funding will allow us to further automate and digitise the connection between leftover materials on construction sites and organisations who can reuse them; keeping things that still have value out of landfill and eliminating buying things that are already available to use. This approach to inventory management is something our customer love and we are excited about what new features we can incorporate into our platform thanks to this funding”
